Coordinating safety through regulatory requirements
Understanding your project is our strength, challenging each team member to make a positive contribution to the health and safety of your project is our skill.
Under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 it is mandatory to appoint a CDM coordinator on all notifiable projects. Our role is to ensure your project surpasses the regulations and that safety is of the highest priority. Whilst a separate and distinct function we are an integral part of the team.
Our award winning, hands-on method clearly tracks and benchmarks the risks and successful mitigation throughout the process. Our early integration with designers, contractors and facilities managers means you have the added comfort of knowing your project is buildable and serviceable.
Designing out risk
Whilst an independent appointment, as part of a design consultancy we have a deeper understanding of how designers can make a difference. Working with your design team we facilitate workshops where we review and challenge solutions to make sure they have done all they can to eliminate risks and hazards.
Building the project
‘Passing the baton’ to the Principal Contractor is a key milestone we approach with the same enthusiasm and passion for safety. We make sure they understand the project risks and their CDM requirements before they start on site by establishing personal relationships with your delivery team. Working throughout the construction process we develop a clear, concise health and safety file which we issue to you following successful completion.
