Working from limited base build information the design team engaged with the client and stakeholders to drive the delivery of goals and efficiencies required for successful station operation, not only immediately but for the long term.
As an existing building within the Olympic site the programme had to be coordinated through a number of other contractors on site to make sure works were not impacted. This was achieved through close liaison, communication and assessment of construction logistics and project boundaries with domestic operator Southeastern and their fit-out contractor.
